Coming back from the winter break can feel a little *stressful*. Going from 14 days of relaxation straight back into planning is not ideal, but I’m here to make that first week back a little easier. I have both a free and a paid New Years Activity that is sure to get you and your students excited to be back.
The first activity is a digital Google Slides resource that will take your students through a variety of goal setting activities.
First, they will start by reflecting on the previous year and then creating a quick vision board. After, they will learn about SMART goals and set two of their own. The resource also talks about habits and why they are important to think about when creating goals/resolutions.
The resource also includes extra templates you can customize if you’d like to add pages. This is simple, no-prep resource that will engage your students and help them set realistic & impactful goals. Grab yours here!
If you’d rather have a quick, one-and-done New Years activity, you may prefer the one-page goal setting more. This is perfect for younger grades and can make for a wonderful bulletin board display the students can refer back to throughout the year. Grab the freebie here.
Hope you and your students enjoy these activities!
